My Design Process

  • Analyze

In our kick-off meeting, I collaborate with stakeholders to gather information about the company's needs and the outcome they want to see from the learners.

A Needs Analysis may be implemented so I can better identify the key drivers for change the training must include.

  • Design

In this stage, I create a detailed course outline or storyboard, laying the foundation for the Development phase.

It helps me make sure that the course will be pedagogically sound, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's desired outcomes.

  • Develop

Content creation, multimedia integration, and assessment development are just some of the components I incorporate in this phase.

I ensure that all components are cohesive, functional, and engaging, providing learners with the necessary resources to meet the course objectives.

  • Implement

After multiple rounds of review from both SME's and stakeholders, this is where I finally deliver the course to the instructor or on the LMS.

I ensure that the course is not only delivered but also functions smoothly, addressing any challenges that arise and optimizing the learning experience for success.

  • Evaluate

To make sure that future course iterations are improved and more aligned with learner needs and educational goals, I gather feedback from learners and instructors through informal check-ins, surveys, and quizzes.

I also look at the long-term outcomes such as learner retention or practical application of course content to assess its impact.
