What is a Design Document?
A design document is a specified outline of decisions to be made about the course, including the purpose, objectives, and intended outcome. It can be thought of as a reference point for guiding stakeholders.
Purpose
I created this design document to help break my Regional Records Storage Training course into manageable pieces. Furthermore, it helped me build consensus with my SME on the content that needed to be added.

What is a Storyboard?
A storyboard is a blueprint for an eLearning course or I.D. project. It outlines the course's structure, content, interactions, assessments, and more.
Purpose
I created this storyboard to map the entire course of my project in great detail. This is so I can ensure a logical and coherent program. It helped me and my SME's eye on the bigger picture of meeting the learning objectives for the company's delivery truck driver security compliance protocols.

What is a script?
It is a text that explains the content of the lessons within an eLearning course.
Purpose
I created a script document for this project to give direction for the parts of my course that utilize voice over. I have multiple character scenario's and scenes in this course project and each character uses a different voice. Additionally, the narrator voice is neutral toned and a consistent guide throughout the course. Having audio included in this course is just another way of providing differentiation and inclusivity for the learners.

-Determine the actions that learners needed to take.
-Design the activities to help the learners practice the behavior.
- Identify what the learners needed to know to complete the training.

What is a Facilitator Guide?
A facilitator guide is a detailed resource created to help instructors, trainers, or facilitators effectively deliver a learning program. It provides step-by-step guidance on how to conduct the training, ensuring that the facilitator can engage participants, cover key objectives, and maintain consistency across sessions.
Purpose
I created this facilitator guide because Maritime Transportation Security is highly regulated, with strict compliance requirements (e.g., ISPS Code, MTSA regulations). A facilitator guide ensures that:
>Trainers cover all required content without missing critical security protocols.
>Sessions meet the legal and operational standards mandated by governing bodies.

What is a Design Document?
A design document is a specified outline of decisions to be made about the course, including the purpose, objectives, and intended outcome. It can be thought of as a reference point for guiding stakeholders.
Purpose
This design document acts as a roadmap, outlining content, virtual instructor-led activities, visuals, and assessments before creating the slides. It prevents rework by gaining stakeholder approval on the plan before development begins.
