Problem: Delivery truck drivers were forgetting the company's chain of custody procedure when picking up client records resulting in security breaches.

Solution: Job Aid developed for the company's delivery drivers to take with them along their service route and reference as needed. Drivers can also attach this job aid onto the dashboard for quick reference access.

Stylization: Staying on brand with the company's color palette, I created this quick reference job aid for the delivery truck drivers. It condenses the company's 4-Step Chain of Custody Procedure down into easy to read block steps. The usage of icons next to each step visually clues the learner in on what the step will discuss.

  • Vending Machine Service Game

Problem: A short demo I created based off the idea that Japanese vending machine owners are having difficulties maintaining their machines.

Solution: Microlearning game developed to showcase the three most important aspects of vending machine servicing. It also features and highlights my advanced animation and SL effect skills.

Stylization: Since the premise of this microlearning game is based on the Japanese vending machine business industry, I wanted to go with a kawaii (Japanese for cute) aesthetic. This retro-bit style accompanied with smooth, bright, and vibrant animations, is appealing and eye-catching. After completing the demo microlearning game, learners will be left with a sense of nostalgia, thus in turn increasing their retention rate of the important knowledge from the game.

  • How to Create Animations in Canva

Problem: Entry-level Instructional designers are unaware that Canva has an animation feature and are unfamiliar with how to create creative and engaging animations using this tool.

Solution: A microlearning screen recorded tutorial video was created to demonstrate to beginner instructional designers how to create animations using Canva's animate feature.

Stylization: I created this video with simplicity in mind. I wanted learners to focus on visually following along with the tutorial so I minimized any unnecessary effects. I utilized the highlighter, red shape marker, and the zoom focus effect the most to direct learners attention to particular areas of the screen.

  • Stress Management For Corporate Professionals: A Survival Guide

Problem: Corporate professionals who work in fast-paced, high-stress office environments are in need of learning some stress reducing practices.

Solution: Provide an engaging and humorous video guide that exemplifies strategies and methods for corporate stress relief techniques.

Stylization: Animated video with a color palette that keeps the visuals cohesive, professional, and inviting, adding both energy and calmness to fit each stress-management tip.

  • Hattie's Effect Size: School Leadership Infographic

Problem: A Korean Hagwon (private academy) principal and academic director are struggling to retain western teachers at their campus. There is a 60% decrease in teachers resigning.

Solution: Infographic created to increase awareness to the Hagwon's leadership about why their academy is loosing many western teachers, and how they can provide better support and communicate effectively with their instructors.

Stylization: I created this animated infographic with the intention of conveying controversial cultural practices to Hagwon leadership in a light-hearted and engaging manner. The usage of gifs is intended to keep the content load from weighing down the learner. It places them in a more relaxed state of mind, thus resulting in their willingness to digest the information that is being presented to them.
